• Stolen goods, or goods without proof of ownership where the law requires it.
• Counterfeit, replica or pirated goods, and anything that infringes someone’s intellectual property.
• Protected or threatened species and their products (rhino horn, ivory, pangolin, abalone, cycads) under NEMBA and CITES; game without the required permits.
• Alcohol and tobacco sold without the required licence, or to minors.
• Identity documents, driver’s licences, bank cards, SIM cards registered to someone else, and personal data.
• Human remains, body parts and organs.
• Adult sexual content or services.
• Pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick offers, loans from unregistered credit providers, and jobs that ask for an upfront fee.
• Hazardous substances, recalled products and uncertified gas or electrical installations.
• Anything else that is illegal to sell in South Africa.
